A bed before the boat, a bed after it

Arrive in Labuan Bajo the day before the boat leaves. A morning flight that lands on sailing day leaves no margin, and the boat does not wait for a missed connection. If you arrive late and miss the departure, a taxi boat to catch up is at your own expense.

Pickup is included. A vehicle collects your party from your hotel or from Komodo Airport and takes it to the harbour, at the time we confirm for your date. Tell us the name of the hotel when you book, and the pickup follows from it.

The night before is also the time to buy what the islands do not sell. There are no shops or cash machines at the anchorages, so cash, sunscreen and any tablets belong in the bag before you board.

The boat sleeps up to 16 guests on standard beds, and a hotel is arranged differently: rooms, not berths. Eight double rooms cover sixteen guests in couples, and sixteen single rooms cover a group of colleagues. Say which one you need.

A party of that size can split across two hotels. That is not a problem for the boat. We collect the pickup times and addresses into one list, so that each vehicle knows where to stop and when, and everyone arrives at the harbour together.

Tell us the number of rooms, the nights before and after, and the arrival and departure flights. We reply with the options that fit.

The trip ends between 12:00 and 12:30 on the last day, and flights home should be booked after 13:00, or on the next day. The drive from the harbour to the airport is short, but a flight at 13:00 leaves no slack for a delayed arrival.

If your flight is later, ask the hotel for a late check-out or a place to leave your bags. We pass the request on. If you are staying another night in Labuan Bajo, we collect you at the harbour and take you to the hotel.

You pay the hotel under its own terms, which we send with the quote. We do not add a fee on top of what the hotel charges. For a group, one message with the dates and the number of rooms starts the quote. A change of hotel dates follows the hotel's own terms, which we send with the quote, so that you know them before you confirm.
