Three days on Raja Bintang 01, stop by stop
Updated 4 November 2026
The Komodo 3 day 2 night phinisi itinerary on Raja Bintang 01: day one Kelor, Manjarite and Kalong; day two Padar, Pink Beach, Komodo Island, Taka Makassar and Manta Point; day three Sebayur or Siaba. The whole boat is IDR 78,000,000 (≈ USD 4,785), and a cabin seat runs from IDR 4,750,000 (≈ USD 291) to IDR 8,750,000 (≈ USD 537) per person.
The three-day timetable, day by day
This is the boat's own itinerary, tentative and dependent on weather. Pickup for the open trip is between 09:30 and 12:00, and the trip ends between 12:00 and 12:30. Book your flight home after 13:00, or the day after.
It starts and ends in Labuan Bajo. There is no Lombok leg and no one-way version: the trip starts and ends in Labuan Bajo. The timetable below shows each day with its stops.
Read it as a plan, not a contract. The captain keeps the right to reorder the stops with the weather.

Day 3
| What happens | Have ready | |
|---|---|---|
| · | Sebayur or Siaba Island | mask and snorkel |
| 12:00 | Back at Labuan Bajo harbour between 12:00 and 12:30 (book flights after 13:00) |
These stops swap order with tide and wind: Manta Point ⇄ Taka Makassar.
Times are operating patterns, not a timetable. Pickup is the only promise we make by the clock.
Day 1: harbour, Kelor and the sunset
Kelor comes first, close to the harbour. Manjarite follows, then Kalong Island in the late afternoon, and the day ends with the sunset at Kalong as the boat settles in for the night.
The boat stays at anchor overnight. The captain chooses the anchorage with the weather, and we cannot say in advance where it will be.
Day one starts late, with pickup between 09:30 and 12:00, and ends early at anchor. That leaves time to settle into the cabins before the long middle day, and to find out which way your balcony faces.
Day 2 and day 3
Day two opens at Padar at sunrise when the day plan allows (in June the sun is up at 06:14) and runs on through Pink Beach, Komodo Island, Taka Makassar and Manta Point. The dragon walk is on Komodo Island, or Rinca when the day plan calls for it. Dragons and manta rays are on the plan, never promised. Whale sharks are not on the plan at all.
Day three: Sebayur or Siaba in the morning, then the harbour, timed for a flight home after 13:00.
Open-trip pickup runs from 09:30 to 12:00, from your hotel or Komodo Airport, and the exact time is confirmed in writing on WhatsApp ahead of the date. A private charter sets pickup with your flights, and the written quote shows the day plan that follows from it.
The bill for the three days
The whole boat costs IDR 78,000,000 (≈ USD 4,785) for 1 to 16 guests, with no band split. As separate seats on the open trip, the cabins cost IDR 8,750,000 (≈ USD 537) in the Master, IDR 7,750,000 (≈ USD 475) in the Deluxe, IDR 6,750,000 (≈ USD 414) in a Private cabin and IDR 4,750,000 (≈ USD 291) in a Sharing cabin, per person.
The park package is quoted beside either one. The guide and the documentation come with the seat but not with the charter.
Fuel is inside both, the figures are rounded, and nothing is added without a written quote. The next section turns the charter fare into a share per guest.
| Guests | per boat | per person |
|---|---|---|
| 1–16 | IDR 78,000,000 (≈ USD 4,785) | IDR 4,880,000 |
| Cabins | per person |
|---|---|
| Master Cabin | IDR 8,750,000 (≈ USD 537) |

The same fare, shared out
Twelve guests on the whole boat pay IDR 6,500,000 (≈ USD 399) each, and sixteen pay IDR 4,880,000 (≈ USD 299). The table below adds the other sizes.
A seat price and a shared charter price are not quite the same thing, since a seat price pays for a guide and documentation, which the charter leaves out. The comparison page explains where the two meet.
The sums are exact for the fare. They do not include the park package, flights, hotels or tips.
If your party sits between two rows, ask us and we divide the fare for your number. The cabin plan matters as much as the sum: a party of twelve fills the four cabins with their own bathrooms and one Sharing cabin, and we draw the plan before you pay.

Where the plan can change
Three things can move the order of stops: the weather, the tide, and the traffic at the busiest stops. The captain decides on the morning itself, once all three are known.
If one stop is the reason you are coming, tell us when you ask for the quote. We write it into the quote as a request, and we tell you in advance which stop we would drop first if the sea closes the day.
