Booking terms: deposit, balance, cancellation

The terms for Raja Bintang 01: a 50 percent deposit, the balance 30 days before sailing, a refund of 50 percent at 60 days or more, 25 percent at 30 to 59 days and nothing under 30 days. Rescheduling costs IDR 500,000 from 14 to 29 days before departure.
Two payments and their dates
The deposit of 50 percent confirms the booking. The balance is due 30 days before sailing. Within 30 days of departure, the full amount is due at booking. The balance may also be paid on the departure day, in cash or by card machine.
Payment fees are added as a line on the invoice: 3 percent for a card link, 7.2 percent for PayPal and 3 percent for the card machine in Labuan Bajo. Your own bank may add its charges. Prices on this site are rounded all-in figures, as quoted, with fuel and tax inside.

Deposit 50% to confirm, balance 30 days before departure. You can also settle the balance in Labuan Bajo on the departure day, in cash or by card on the EDC machine. Fees: card payment link 3%, PayPal 7.2%, EDC card machine 3%. Your issuing bank may add its own charges.
Changing your mind: refunds and new dates
If you cancel, the refund depends on the notice you give. At 60 days or more before departure, 50 percent is refunded. From 30 to 59 days, 25 percent. Under 30 days, nothing is refunded. Refunds are transferred within 2 days once all refund conditions are met.
To move a date, tell us as early as you can. A change 30 days or more before departure is free, subject to availability. From 14 to 29 days it costs IDR 500,000. Under 14 days it is treated as a cancellation.
A shortened trip or a change of itinerary does not earn a partial refund, unless we are at fault, in which case we compensate you.

If we cancel, you are refunded 100 percent · Once the refund conditions are met, the money is transferred within 2 × 24 hours.
If we or the boat cancel
If the boat cannot sail, whether through a breakdown, a port order or a park order, we supply a boat of the same or higher class on the same date at no extra charge. If you prefer, we refund in full within 2 days.
The itinerary may be changed for extreme weather, volcanic activity or an order from the harbour master. Conduct that endangers the boat, the crew or the park ends the charter without a refund. We would rather say so here than argue about it on a quay.
Children, ID and insurance
Children aged 0 to 2 travel free with a parent or guardian. From age 3, the full fare applies. We need a valid ID or passport for every guest 7 days before sailing, because the park manifest cannot be completed without it.
Travel insurance with medical cover is recommended, and we cannot book it for you. Indonesian law governs these terms, and any dispute is settled under it. We answer questions about any clause in writing. If a clause is unclear, ask before you pay, because the version we send with the quote is the one that binds both sides.
