Privacy, in plain English

We keep what we need to run your trip, and we keep it for no purpose other than arranging the charter, taking payment, sending you the pickup details and answering any question that you raise before or after the voyage. That is your WhatsApp messages and email, your name and the names of your party, your dates and your choice of route and cabin. Before sailing we also ask for passport or ID details, because the park and the harbour require a passenger list. That is the whole list. We ask for nothing we cannot explain.

We keep dietary or health notes only if you give them to us, and only to pass them to the crew. We keep payment records because the law asks us to. This site uses essential cookies only and sets no tracking cookies.

Three groups see parts of your data, and no one else does. The boat's crew sees names and notes needed on board. The park authorities see names and ID numbers for the entrance tickets and the manifest. Payment processors see what a payment needs. We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to advertisers.

Messages on WhatsApp pass through WhatsApp's own service, under its terms. If you prefer, tell us, and we move the conversation to email. Inside our team, only the people who handle your booking can open it.

Write to us. Ask to see, correct or delete what we hold, on WhatsApp or by email, and give us the name on the booking. We acknowledge the request within a few business days, and we complete it within 30 days of confirming who you are. Records that the law requires us to keep, such as accounts, stay. That is all.

Indonesian law governs this policy. If you have a concern we cannot settle, you may complain to the competent authority. We would rather hear it first, and we will answer in writing. No reason is needed for a request, and no fee is charged.
